Why ???

Why did it have to be like that

Why throw people into the darkness

Push them into abyss deep down

Not to see even a beam of sun?

Why are people onto suffering condemned

Without first being taken before the court

Why are wings of children cut

And the beauty of children’s games ripped out of their hearts?

Why so much youth

Had to give their lives

Why the same sun cannot shine for all of us?

Why? Yes, Why?!

Why are people dragged into darkness

To be there taken the existence

Why was the sun outlawed

And buried together with our hopes?

Yet, still, we have hope

Yes, yes, here it is right now

The sun is piecing through the thick darkness

Breaking this gloomy silence

Telling us loudly it is with us

And that the long-awaited salvation is near

And that our future generations

will compensate for our missed the joy of living.
