A room in the dusk (1972-1992)
1972
Dusk descends upon our town
but here, in the room, the time has stopped.
Father and mother wait on
to be shone upon by the sun.
A cry.
Weird it is, weird indeed,
Look around you, my crazy kid
and you'll see... tears and cry.
Open your eyes,
I know, a heavy mountain is each eyelid.
Come on, dive
bravely into the new world, my only kid.
1992
Room in the dusk
in a corner, a coffin
and again a cry
for their only son
no longer is among the livin’.
Room in the dusk
in a corner, mother and father crying
lost in this world so cruel.
For them, the sun no longer is shining.
