Eyes like yours
I have seen waters cleaner than dreams
And leaves quieter that a goodbye
Hands whiter than
A forehead of a beauty
Branches thinner than dancers
Eyes sadder than widow’s eyes.
I’ve seen weeds softer that
Depths deeper than abyss memory
And healed thought on over grown paths
I’ve seen clouds
That cry swinging
and dry trees and flags
Handprints and a stamp of feat
On breasts of dark mountains hills
I’ve seen shadows
Darker than doubts, from a dream
From a night I’ve seen
But eyes like yours
I’ve not yet seen.
